Thanksgiving Dressing

Momma Latchaw's Thanksgiving Dressing

Ingredients: ( Single recipe )

Chicken livers - 2 cups
Celery (chopped) - 1 cup
Onions (chopped) - 1 cup
Milk (enough to moisten)
Eggs (3 - 4)
1 bag of bread crumbs
1 bag of bread crumbs with sage
1 stick of butter
Preheat oven to 350.
Step 1- Saute liver in a skillet until lightly browned. Take out and chop in the smaller bits. Make sure not to make them too small. Add onions and celery to the skillet along with the now chopped liver. Cook till onions are clear and liver is browned.

Step 2- Take bread crumbs and add eggs and milk till you get it the right texture. Place inside deep aluminum foil baking dish.

Step 3- Cut stick of butter into about 1/4" slices (close to 15 chunks per stick) and arrange on top of the dressing mixture. Cover with foil and bake for 1and 1/2 to 2 hours depending on amount. Uncover during the last 30 minutes so that it can brown. Serve warm with a Turkey Dinner!
